Stamp-A-Holics 119

Hola Amigas...Much has happened so here it goes...Solimar has a pneumonia caused by asthma and environmental alleriges. Joaquin has had his annual scratch/allergy testing. He didn't outgrew any of them but he did add envioronmental to his list. My poor abuela (grandma) is in the hospital and me well after SEVERAL years of being panic attack free have had my first one today...YIKES! It's alot to absorb but Mama is hanging strong as much as I can...Thank my LUCKY stars for STAMPING! Today I am going to share our weekly Challenge. This week it was a sketch and I tried to do it under 10 minutes like the rest of our team and well...
On your mark, get set, STAMP...
YIKES! It took me 3 minutes to pick, colors, DSP and stamp. Is that good or bad?
3 minutes LEFT! I think Mr. Ticker is speeding up the time...

ARGH! Mr. Ticker won THIS time! He's MEAN he buzzes and beeps. ANGRY little timer.

What took me SO MUCH time is trying to center my sentiment vertically and horizontally and it you can tell in the pic I highlighted one word in each line with black so it says I'm so proud of you vertically...

This is how much time I went OVER!

FINISHED! Wow! I never thought that trying to center the words would take me FOREVER! What do you think?

Another great card, Marisol. I went way over on mine, and I already had my colors and stamp set picked. What an adventure. I like what you did with the sentiment, even if it seemed like it took forever!

HI Marisol: What a lovely card and I love what you did with the sentiment, a little extra time was so worth it.
I do hope you, your mama and your children are all feeling better soon, that is a lot to have on your plate.

Very nice card, Marisol. Several of us went way over the 10 minutes, so you are right there with us! I think it will just take time to get used to having time constraints. Hope your family gets well soon. It's no fun being sick.

Hi Marisol. You did a fantastic job with your card. Highlighting the words gives it that special touch. Keep it up!
