Sunshine Award

I received this award from my friend and DT sister Sage Kimble. I also received this award from Martha Lu also my friend, SU Hermana and Creator of the monthly Inkspired Blog Hop where Latinas from Calif, Jersey (me) and more showcase their SU artwork...They both had to send this to 12 people and now its my turn...This was WAY too difficult as we ALL love blog hopping and see so many blogs for INSPIRATION!
There are responsibilities that come with the award, however, and I have been working on this for the last couple of days. Here are the rules:
1. Put the Sunshine Award on your blog and/or within your post.
2. Pass the award to 12 other bloggers.
3. Link the nominees within your post.
4. Let them know they received this award by leaving a comment on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to the person from whom you received the award.
The hardest part, of course is narrowing it down to just 12 blogs!! Please NOTE that this is not by ANY MEANS my FULL list. If I could I WOULD add TOO MANY more! Also I would DEFINITELY pick the same ladies who picked me but what I am going to try to do is pick ladies who have not received this award yet so that we can spread the SUNSHINE.
Here are my favorites that I am sending the Sunshine Award to:

Stamp-A-Holics 119

Hola Amigas...Much has happened so here it goes...Solimar has a pneumonia caused by asthma and environmental alleriges. Joaquin has had his annual scratch/allergy testing. He didn't outgrew any of them but he did add envioronmental to his list. My poor abuela (grandma) is in the hospital and me well after SEVERAL years of being panic attack free have had my first one today...YIKES! It's alot to absorb but Mama is hanging strong as much as I can...Thank my LUCKY stars for STAMPING! Today I am going to share our weekly Challenge. This week it was a sketch and I tried to do it under 10 minutes like the rest of our team and well...
On your mark, get set, STAMP...
YIKES! It took me 3 minutes to pick, colors, DSP and stamp. Is that good or bad?
3 minutes LEFT! I think Mr. Ticker is speeding up the time...

ARGH! Mr. Ticker won THIS time! He's MEAN he buzzes and beeps. ANGRY little timer.

What took me SO MUCH time is trying to center my sentiment vertically and horizontally and it you can tell in the pic I highlighted one word in each line with black so it says I'm so proud of you vertically...

This is how much time I went OVER!

FINISHED! Wow! I never thought that trying to center the words would take me FOREVER! What do you think?

Ink: Black Stazon, Taken with Teal

Anywho...I made this card and 23 others for a Summer Mini Swap I am in. What do you think? and for a little inspiration I used SCS Color Challenge 160. It was to use Creamy Caramel, Mellow Moss, Apricot Appeal and Cameo Coral. Talk about out of my comfort zone. But I think it LOOKS GREAT! I am in three spots for the swap so I have a total of 96 items I am making. 3 sets of 24.

Stamp-A-Holics 118

Hola Amigas...The name of our Design Team created by Sandi and Carole'Anne is Stamp-A-Holics. LOVE IT. Our first challenge is a color challenge. I want you to come and play with us. You can't resist playing with these beautiful colors. When you are done you can upload to Mr. Linky on Carole'Anne's blog. This is my first entry. My second entry will also be the Color Challene along with the 10 minute challenge that Sandi and Carole'Anne do every Friday. So you can do both on one project (card, scrapbook page, 3_D item) or you can do more than one. I wanted to have one up and early for you so this one wasn't time and had I timed it I would have lost. BIG TIME! This took me FOREVER...You look and your probably saying, WHY? Well I wasn't sure of the layout and I originally wanted to do a sketch BUT this is my first challenge with the DT so I wanted to make it my own design and SO I DID! Be sure to come back later and see if I can make a Desk Caddy in 10 minutes or less...My bet is on Mr. Ticker but we will see...If you decide to play and upload make sure its to the actual post or picture on SCS or other site. And come back and leave me a comment and let me know. I would love to see what you came up with. Vamos a JUGAR! Let's Play!

Black Eyed Susan

Hola Amigas. Are you enjoying this GLORIOUS weather? I LOVE IT. My little ones LOVE it...No more cabin fever, YEAH! Sorry I haven't been posting as often as I usually do. I have been SUPER busy. I am in a Summer Mini swap...You are going to LOVE the new Summer Mini. So I am just preparing my swaps...I will be posting more often VERY SOON. Also don't forget to come by on April 30. The Royal Blog Tour-The Promise of Spring will be launched. Here is a Trifold card I made using the NEW set Awash with Flowers that you will find in the New Idea Book & Catalog in July. It is a beautiful set. As many as you know I am not a flower on the cards type of chica but slowly but surely I am being converted...In this set this particular flower is not a Full Bloom flower. So I made it a full flower by stamping on the top and on the bottom. Then I added our Chunky Black glitter in the middle...Solimar says it looks like a Black Eyed Susan. That sounds about right...This card also looks great with a flicker tea light inside..It gives such a warm glow...So what do you think?
RECIPE: ALL STAMPIN UP
Paper: Perfect Plum, Vellum, So Saffrom
Ink: Black Stazon
Stamp: Awash with Flowers
Accessories: So Saffron marker, Chunky Essentials, Polka Dot EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals
