Hola Amigas. I can't believe a week until Christmas. Where did the time go? Is everyone ready for the holidays? Today I am going to share an Occasions Mini 2012 Sneak Peek. Hola Amigas! December is HERE! I am HAPPY to say I am SUDSOL's December Featured Stamper. YEAH! I also wanted to create something new not only for SUDSOL but for my upcoming workshop. I made two simple but SUPER NICE cards using the ornament Punch.My first card I punched out the ornament and added DSP behind the open space. You can't tell in the pick but this layer is popped up with dimensionals.My second card uses the ornament punch out from the above card. COOL, huh?

Hola Amigas! December will be here in 2 days time..,and that means Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye. I have a craft fair this weekend. I have been busy creating, creating, creating.

Here is one of the cards I created. This one is simple. I wanted to have a variety of stamping level cards. You can't tell in picture but the Very Vanilla is smooch spritz with gold.

This card is BEAUTIFUL! If I do say so myself. This one I cased from Kathy.I also made bottle cap necklaces. I hope these do well. Solimar and Joaquin both liked them.

LOVE, LOVE my color combo. This was a little difficult in that I haven't made a card set for USTAMP so had no idea what I wanted to make, let alone what punch art I was going to create...but am happy with the end result. What do you think?

Hola Amigas! I can't believe we are in mid-November. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Do you cook? I certainly do not. I bake...Same-Difference, right?

Here are some fall Thank Yous I made for my hubby. I always have to use Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. So it DAMPENS my mojo. I cased this from Mary Fish. The only difference is my hubby didn't want any of the brads nor did he want fish tails on the ribbon. I did end up changing the ribbon from satin to grograin.

Hola Amigas! Today we are going to meet Santa (the NY Macy's Day Santa) at Rutgers University. He came to visit an event my hubby was giving for his program. I made the following for a basket. There was quite a few baskets that attendees got to put tickets in to win them. I was happy to see alot of tickets in my bucket.

I made the a box of the Season's Greeting cards. On the card I used the technique Dazzling Diamond Dust. I used the technique on the Nugget Tin Band as well as the Bookmarks.

Had I had more time to put something together I definitely would have added more.

Hola Amigas! This is one of my favorite seasons. I love seeing the leaves change colors. I love all the different color mums. The air is crisp. Hola Amigas. How are you? Are you surviving the sweltering Heat Wave? Today we are going to see Kung Fu Panda 2. Then to AC Moore to buy more decorative Duck Tape. Then HOPEFULLY back home for lunch and naps. Today our 3D Challenge is brought to us by Nancy Dawson. The challenge is to make a 3D gift idea. This is what I came up with. A cute way to gift a bracelet to my neice. I saw this idea when Demo Reporters from SU Convention were sharing all the ideas they got to see In Person. Look how cute? This is one of the stamps in the NEW IB&C. It's called Kidoodles. Do you see the tie dyed paper inside. It's a coffee filter. You will need a plate and two to three ink refills. Place a couple of drops of each on the plate. I used Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise. Then spritz with water and lay the coffee filter over it.

You can let it air dry or use your Heat Tool.

Hola Amigas! How are you on this GORGEOUS Saturday. Yesterday my mom took Solimar, Joaquin and I out for lunch and then to a movie. My youngest sister, Sally also came with us. We saw Cars 2 because Joaquin is OBSESSED! It was really cute. And she also let them pick out a toy! Sally bought them popcorn an Icee. Thanks MOM and Sally!

Hola Amigas...WOW it has been so long that I have played with my Diva Sisters. Life is just having me take 2 steps back...But I am ready...FULL THROTTLE! Solimar's last day of school is tomorrow. Where did the time go? Kindergarten was FUN experience both for Solimar and I. The Kindergartners had so much FUN at their picnic yesterday. I was a Face Painter...WOW, my skills are pretty good! Today they have Rocket Day!
Joaquin and I are looking forward to the rockets being launched.
This week we have a color challenge.

My first card shows a simple background for the main image...I will then show you two other ways to WOW your card...Here I changed the background by using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder...And here I used the Direct to Paper (DTP) technique. I used Sahara Sand Ink Pad and just rubbed it across the Sahara Sand cardstock in different directions. This is my favorite one...

Hola Amigas. It's Diva Time! So how are you doing? I can't believe this weather. One day it's sweltering hot (my kind of weather) and then its freezing again...Today and yesterday it's been raining...Well many asked about my first meet and greet with Dawn Raspas. I am a Designer for her so I was getting some goodies for our next session. I also spoke to her about this weekend. I am going to her Shoebox Swap A Thon in Mahwah, NJ. It's going to be first time at a SU event as I have never been to Convention or Regionals. I am really excited. But also nervous as I have never been away from Joaquin and Solimar for so long and this is for the whole weekend. YIKES! At least it's only 1 hour 30 minutes away...Just in Case!

City GIRL!

Hola Amigas! Solimar and Joaquin had a BLAST in the city. Solimar had no clue that she was going to the American Girl Store.We walked and talked about the possibilites...Joaquin and I ran to the store and waited for her to notice it...She noticed a HUGE poster of Kanani, 2011 Girl of the Year. She was so EXCITED!Look at her face. She brought her Lanie, 2010 Girl of the Year. Lanie got her ears pierced and her hair done. She also got a new wardrobe. Solimar also picked up a bag to carry her in and clothes for her... Of course before we entered my hubby gave her a limit that FLIES out the window the minute she says, "Please Daddy". HE MELTS! "Mama, Soli done?" My poor baby.

We told him when Solimar is done he can buy whatver he wants in Toys R US! PRICELESS!
DONE!

We had lunch at Havana Central, YUMMY! As you know both my children have food allergies so no dessert for them. Our waiter Jesse was so NICE and accomodating. He was really careful with their orders and filled a HUGE coctail glass with fresh fruit and a candle and brought everyone to sing to Solimar. She had no clue. When she realized it was for her she was so embarrassed.
and here we are in Toys R US! This place is HUGE! I think it's 4 or 5 floors. There was a woman waiting in line to get on the Ferris Wheel and she didnt want to wait anymore so she gave us her tickets...THEY LOVED IT! Joaquin also bought two big trucks. He was a HAPPY CAMPER!
What a LONG day! and we aren't even done YET! We then went to our counsin's house and they had a DELICIOUS dinner for us!

We had a YUMMY lunch at Havana Central and then we went to Toys R US ENORMOUS! Joaquin was able to shop there especially after having to endure a LONG time at the American Girl Store. Hola Amigas...Can you believe it? I was given this Blog Award by two beautiful and amazing friends. Thank you Sonia (She and I are Designers for INKspiration 4U) and Laurie (She and I are Designers for USTAMP with Dawn and Friends). For accepting this, there are a couple of things I need to do. First, I need to tell you 8 things about myself that you may not know.

So, here goes:
1. I go OVERBOARD when organizing. There is a label and/or container for EVERYTHING.

2. I am a Girl Scout Leader. Cookie sales begin January 20.

3. I was a Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher before becoming a Mami. I miss teaching.

4. I was a Pampered Chef Consultant and a Baby Signs Instructor (taught sign language to hearing babies and children)

5.Every room in my house is a different color. My bedroom is Cajun Craze, Solimar's is Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst, Joaquin's is Ballet Blue, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake, Small Bathroom is Bashful Blue and Basic Black...You get the picture.

6. I decorate my house every month with a theme/holiday.

7. I am a Harry Potter JUNKIE.

8. I am a Twilight Saga JUNKIE.

Hola Amigas! As you know I am a Guest Designer for USTAMP with Dawn and Friends. This is the project I showcased. We had to use a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock with no LEFTOVERS. The other cool thing is that no one EVER uses the same color combo and ALL colors are used. Not only that I was asked to come back...YEAH ME! I am so excited. Hola Amigas! How are you? I have been SUPER BUSY! I made 15 headbands for Solimar's classroom. Her teacher is giving them to the girls for Christmas. I also made 24 Snowman Soup Mugs for her as well. From Solimar I made Reindeer Food...and so MUCH MORE. Here are just 3 of the headbands I made.

All these headbands use Stampin UP Flower Folds Sizzix die. I also used SU ribbon and/or SU brads as embellishments. Stampin UP now has a fabric line so I will show you the headbands and MORE with those soon...

Hola Amigas! I have been super busy gift making! How about you? Currently I am working on a golf cart for Mrs. Coecliff's hubby. What do you think? Hola Amigas! Solimar's teacher asked me to make a 3D snowman and of course I said yes...I used Lynn Pratt's tutorial. It was NOT EASY! But so worth it...It was so heavy I had to make a base for it. I did try a skewer as Lynn suggested but that didn't work for me.
