Flowers, Flowers, Flowers
Hola Amigas! Tuesday we asked the students to bring in a flower for their teacher. They could buy one, bring it from their garden, color one, make one, etc. She received alot of different ones. ALL BEAUTIFUL! Solimar is allergic to flowers (of course). So she asked me to make her flowers. I made a Daisy Bouquet.
Here is the note card set that went with the bouquet.
RECIPE: ALL STAMPIN' UP!Paper: Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Apricot Appeal (retired), Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment (SAB)
Ink: Pool Party
Stamp: Thank You Kindly, Mixed Bunch
Accessories: Corduroy Brads (retired), Antique Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals (between flower layers), Daisies Die #2, Big Shot, Blossom Punch
Apple Day
Hola Amigas. WOW! It's been along time since I have shared with all of you! Believe me I have been truly busy creating. But also not well. Well this week is Teacher's Appreciation Day. We are appreciating Solimar's teacher using all the ideas from the book Teacher's Appreciation Day (GREAT BOOK and FUNNY). So Monday was Apple Day. The students were asked to bring her an apple. She received the first and said Thank You but then they just kept coming...before you know it she has about 20 apples on her desk...She thought it was funny! Solimar is allergic to apples so we made one from yarn.
This week I am also gifting her a note card set to go with the them of the day. So here is the one she received Monday.
RECIPE: ALL STAMPIN' UP! (unless otherwise specified)Paper: Very Vanilla, Real Read
Ink: Real Red
Stamp: Apple Blossoms (retired)
Ribbon: Always Artichoke Seam Binding
Accessories: Yarn and Chenille (non-SU), Fancy Favor Die, Pearls, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack

Aleena's Sweet & Sassy Invite
Hola Amigas! It's been along time since I have posted. I have been really busy but Solimar, Joaquin and I have been sick for about a month. We have been recycling these germs for TOO LONG! Looking forward to warmer weather.
I had the pleasure of making my BEAUTIFUL Friend Shabana's daughter's invites. I absolutely LOVE this family. They are BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Aleena is 13. She is an amazing young lady. Smart and Beautiful. She knew what she wanted which is what I LOVE about all my clients/customers. But she also gave me free reign to also mold her idea into what I knew would look GREAT! What do you think? She new she wanted PINK. You can never go wrong with Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo. She also wanted a splash of animal print. Love the Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim. I will share later this week her favors. They are too cute.

Solimar's 7th Birthday
Happy Birthday Solimar! WOW! My beautiful Blondie turns 7 today. Where has the time gone? She has brought so much adventure and happiness into our lives. WE LOVE YOU! Solimar is the reason A Touch of Sol was created. She still continues to be my INSPIRATION!
This is Solimar's invitation this year. It's a Luau. Her BFFs will be making a Hula Skirt, creating a volcano (that will actually erupt) and MORE! This was my first time brayering my background. It was alot easier than I thought. And it came out AMAZING! I added brads to the coconuts and raffia to the hula skirt. I still felt it was missing ribbon. I am a ribbon girl. But it just didn't seem to fit. I will show you, her favors and cupcake holders later this week.
