A Touch of Sol

Hola Amigas! How are you on this GORGEOUS Saturday. Yesterday my mom took Solimar, Joaquin and I out for lunch and then to a movie. My youngest sister, Sally also came with us. We saw Cars 2 because Joaquin is OBSESSED! It was really cute. And she also let them pick out a toy! Sally bought them popcorn an Icee. Thanks MOM and Sally!
Starting today we have a FA-BU VC ROCKS Blog Hop.

My first and second projects are an Acrylic Frame Post It Note Holder with matching pen. These make great inexpensive gifts for teachers, secretaries and more.

Hola Amigas...We had a 50s floor Challenge on VC ROCKS...So I picked the song Earth Angel...I cased this from Ilina Crouse. I am so grateful to and for Sharon. She lent me this stamp set so I can make some cards for the craft fair on Friday. If you are near Morrisville, PA let me know and I can give you the deets about the event...I watercolored this BEAUTIFUL angel with Brocade Blue (retired) and the background is watercolored with Crushed Curry (retired). Her wings are watercolored with White Shimmer Paint...and she is actually stamped on Shimmer cardstock...GORGEOUS IRL! Check out my new siggy. Don't you just love it...Julie did a FA-BU job with my blog, siggy, watermark and business cards...they all coordinate...she even made new buttons for me...I love how she added the sun in the word Sol...If you are looking to revamp your blog make sure you contact Julie Semones...

Hola Amigas. How are you? So what did you think of Tina Taves card. WHEW! I have been busy...I posted SFF sketch and Debi's SAH sketch and now a blog hop...YIKES! I kept it simple. Yesterday Solimar had a Build a Bear birthday party and then afterwards my hubby and I went to my girlfriend's 30th birthday party...I am SOOO Tired. The birthday party was cute. Solimar made a bear NOW named Chocolate. I then took her to my SIL/BIL's house. She and Joaquin had a ball. They went to Princeton and saw/well tried to see a Muppet Movie and had some strawberry slushies... Well this card is for the VC ROCKS June Blog Hope. Hola Amigas! How are you on this very HOT HOT HOT day! It has been sweltering here in Jersey. I am in TOO many swaps. The theme this month on VC Rocks is Anything But A Card (ABC). So for two of the swaps I made the Fabric Pins using the Flower Folds sizzix die. For the two other ones I am making a Kleenex Tissue holder that I learned how to make from Madeline Morcelo and the other project is a paper wallet. I will show pics of those later on. Now off to play with the little ones in their pool...
