Simple Birthday Thanks

I am featuring Simple Birthday Thanks. This is one of the Thank Yous my 4 year old daughter and I made. Cute, huh? I stamped the image without the words on both Blush Blossom and Chocolate Chip. For Solimar's part I stamped them on Whisper White and she had free rein to do decorate as she wished. She used a variety of Stampin' UP! products (markers, watercolor crayons and aquapainter, reinkers, etc) YES I LET HER PLAY WITH MY STUFF. She takes care of it well and knows the value so why not? and yes she gets ink on my blocks but that doesn't bother me either.

Ink: SU Classic Black
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Blush Blosson and Whisper White
Accessories: ALL SU! Crimper (bottom of cake), brad (hidden in sprinkles), Stampin' Glitter (Chunky Essentials-red cherry), Chunky Sprinkles (Crystal Iris-sprinkles), Lovely Lilac marker (Solimar's cake top)

These little bags I made for a little girls birthday favors. Isn't cute? Depending on the age they were stuffed with different things. I used DSP for the cake bottom so that the inside is also a different design. These were super easy to make.

Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink Patterns Pack DSP
Ribbon: Pretty in Pink Grosgrain
Accessories: SU Chunky Sprinkles (Light Pink-sprinkles)

This card I made as one of many samples for Joaquin's (my son) 1st birthday. I stamped the bottom of the cupcake twice on DSP and then glued the edges to make it into a pocketcard. What do you think?

Paper: SU Gable Green, Whisper White, Bashful Blue Patterns Pack DSP
Accessories: Stampin' Emboss Powder, Real Red Marker

Adorable. I think it's great that you let your daughter play, too. Mine loves to stamp with me and I hope she always will!

Hey bloggin' sista! Such cute cupcakes! My 5yo son LOVES stampin' too! He was telling our babysitter all about how you can use markers on the stamp to get different colors..I never even told him that, they see and hear EVERYTHING!! You'll have to share the directions on the cute little party favor box!

AW, you are a nicer mom than me, I hardly let my kids use my stuff! They tend to be rough with all of it, though!

Super cute artwork, GREAT JOB!

Cute cards and gift favor. I think it is great that you let your daughter "do her own thing" on her cards. That is wonderful training for writing thank you notes and keeping it light and fun instead of like a "chore".

Marisol,

I keep bypassing this stuff in the catty and today, I've decided you've enabled me to purchase! Way to go! I'm sure my hubby will love you for it!
