Top Note Quilt Card

I finally jumped the bandwagon and made a Quilt Card. I used Good Morning Sunshine...Love this DSP. This is one of the cards that is in the Card Box below. On a different note. Solimar had her Scratch test yesterday and the only allergy she MAY HAVE outgrown is milk. Her Peanut/Treenut allergy went up...And after a little over a week of not being on her meds she is back on them and is feeling really GOOD to play outside with no incident...

Paper: Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Summer Sun, Old Olive
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Stamp: Oval All (Occassions Mini)
Ribbon: Chocolate Chip Grosgrain

This is a card box I made for a Eve a friend of mine. She is actually my husband's Special Advisor...I should call her Dr. Sachs but it seems so formal...I learned how to make this card box from Dawn over at Stampin with Dawn She has videos for EVERYTHING. Later tonight or tomorrow I will show you an Explosion Card that I learned from that same site. This card box holds 4-6 cards depending on your embellishments.

and they lived Happily Ever After

I made this card for our friends Terri and John who got married this pass Saturday...I semi-cased from Dacia Smith. I made this really quick so I forgot to add ribbon and Together Forever under the pic in the middle. The flower on the bird is popped-up as well as the bird in the middle pic. The wedding was beautiful it was outside. I will add pics of the wedding. Solimar had a GREAT time dancing. Joaquin was happy to be outside. We had to leave when the Live Band came as it was too LOUD and Joaquin became very scared and upset.

Hello There...

Hello Everyone. I made this shadow box card for LNS RAK TEAM...I mailed 18 of these out! I got diretions from Lisa over at Unique Designs. She has it for download under her card. She used Pacific Point. Cute, huh? The paper and ribbon is Tangerine Tango that I won from Deann Oliver. She had a Mini Madness Challenge. She challenged herself to make an item everyday in April from the Occassions Mini Catalog. Then we as viewers had to comment everyday for a drawing. The more we commented the more drawings we had entered. I had 30 because I followed her everyday to see what she was going to post. She did an EXCELLENT job. I also won the Flowers in Silhouette stamp on page 208.

Paper:  Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
Stamp: Cheep Talk
Ribbon: Tangerine Tango grosgrain
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Rose Red, Only Orange, Versamark (flowers on card)

Simple Birthday Thanks

I am featuring Simple Birthday Thanks. This is one of the Thank Yous my 4 year old daughter and I made. Cute, huh? I stamped the image without the words on both Blush Blossom and Chocolate Chip. For Solimar's part I stamped them on Whisper White and she had free rein to do decorate as she wished. She used a variety of Stampin' UP! products (markers, watercolor crayons and aquapainter, reinkers, etc) YES I LET HER PLAY WITH MY STUFF. She takes care of it well and knows the value so why not? and yes she gets ink on my blocks but that doesn't bother me either.

Ink: SU Classic Black
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Blush Blosson and Whisper White
Accessories: ALL SU! Crimper (bottom of cake), brad (hidden in sprinkles), Stampin' Glitter (Chunky Essentials-red cherry), Chunky Sprinkles (Crystal Iris-sprinkles), Lovely Lilac marker (Solimar's cake top)

These little bags I made for a little girls birthday favors. Isn't cute? Depending on the age they were stuffed with different things. I used DSP for the cake bottom so that the inside is also a different design. These were super easy to make.

Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink Patterns Pack DSP
Ribbon: Pretty in Pink Grosgrain
Accessories: SU Chunky Sprinkles (Light Pink-sprinkles)

This card I made as one of many samples for Joaquin's (my son) 1st birthday. I stamped the bottom of the cupcake twice on DSP and then glued the edges to make it into a pocketcard. What do you think?

Paper: SU Gable Green, Whisper White, Bashful Blue Patterns Pack DSP
Accessories: Stampin' Emboss Powder, Real Red Marker

Hello! How is everyone doing? I made these cards for my DH. He wanted some clean cards that he can send as Thank Yous and more. He's the Director of the Rutgers Future Scholars at Rutgers The State University of New Jersey. The program identifies academically promising 7th grade students from its home communities (Camden, New Brunswick, Newark and Piscataway), providing academic and personal enrichment. Upon successful completion in the program and High School graduation, these scholars will be eligible for tuition free education at Rutgers.

More Birthday Fairies!

Here are more beautiful cards I recieved today...Love the saying on the Rose Red one. It says "Sunshine in the heart not only warms thine own, but all that comes in contact with it" The butterfly one is from none other than my Blogging Stars Sister, Susan. I love butterflies...My dads pet name for me is Mariposa (butterfly in Spanish).

Birthday Fairies!

These beautiful cards were sent by Birthday Fairies. My birthday is tomorrow. I will be 32. YIKES! Aren't they beautiful! Too bad I can' have a drink with Winobella. I am still nursing Joaquin. So drinks with her will have to wait until have September. I am currently working on a Tri Fold Shutter Card. Today Solimar and her classmates had something special for all the moms. We recieved flowers, poems and another sheet about what they like about us and what makes us special. They also sang a few songs. It was really cute! Hope you are having a GREAT day!

If you are picked as a winner, you will win one of these totally cute stamp sets from THERE SHE GOES stamp company! This is my submission. You have to make a square card and a scrapling. What's a scrapling? Its the leftover scrap that you have after creating a square card. My scrapling is called a Slice of Happiness. Cute, huh? These are great to add to gifts.

Joaquin's Baptism Invites

I made these for my son's Baptism. I love this open swing top technique. My family is not too happy that I waited so long to baptize him. He is 7 months old. I waited so long because Joaquin was born with a collapsed lung and after being released from the NICU I wanted to make sure he was strong enough to even recieve family and friends. Well after bringing him home he wasnt doing well. He was just skin and bones. He had no muscle tone and wasnt gaining weight. Even though I was nursing him they urged me to give him a protein formula. He did so well on it and as soon as he got strong I stopped giving it to him. I am still nursing him and he is a happy and healthy baby boy. So after being strong then it was winter...We had birthdays in October, Thanksgiving in November, Christmas in December, New Year's in January, Valentine's in February, and birthdays in EVERY month. So now even though it hasn't slowed down. The weather is beautiful and I dont want to wait any longer...

Stamp: SU God Is Love
