Henna/Mendhi Invites
I made these Henna/Mendhi invites for an upcoming 12th birthday party. Excited that I was able to recreate a design that the girls will likely do. I created the design in Silhouette Studio. I cut the #hamsahand from Stampin' Up!s Elegant Eggplant, Brushed Gold, Melon Mambo and Island Indigo.
This is the back of the #hamsahand.
The wording is on the white oval I just covered it for client confidentiality.

Join the Party!
Hola Amigas! I wanted to share all the goodies the girls recieved with their Zumba invites. I made them all shirts. The front had Keep Calm and Zumba (same image but a mixture of bright and funky colors) and the back I added the logo in lime green. I also bought them Zumba bracelets (latex free of course) and Zumba water pouches that I personalized on the back with their names. We don't need a rush of panic as to whose pouch it belongs to. This was really fun to create everything for Solimar and her friends. It's one of the best times we have together as Mother-Daughter when we are deciding on themes for her birthday and all that encompasses. To personalize the shirts and water bottles I used my Silhouette Cameo and vinyl from Vinyl Spectrum. I love ordering vinyl from Nicholas he is personable and his customer service is top notch!

Let's Zumba!
Hola Amigas! My daughter Solimar will be 11 next month. I can't believe how time goes so fast. She is having a Zumba party! Creating the card in a box is one of my favorite invitations to make. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the dancers and the logo. Party details are on the back.
Here is a side view of the invitation. It truly is a party in a box.Tomorrow I will share the tshirts I made for all her friends to wear along with bracelets and water bottles I purchased.

Happy Birthday Solimar
Happy Birthday to my Sweet and sometimes Sour, Sassy, Stubborn, Sophisticated, Smart, Selfless, Stylish, Spunky, and Strong Daughter. Where has the time gone? She wanted a movie party with her friends and her wish is almost always my command. Loved using Stampin' UP! cardstock as the colors just pop of the page.

Masks & Mystery
Hola Amigas! Hope you are enjoying the nice weather. I definitely need it to be warmer but I will take what I can get from Mother Nature. I had the honor of making this year's 5th Grade Fling Invitations. It was so much fun to make them too. Their theme is Masks & Mystery. Quinceañera Invitation Sample
Hola Amigas. I have the pleasure of making Quinceañera invites for a client. This is one of the samples I presented her. This is also one of the samples not chosen. I love this stamp set. It can be used for Quinceañeras, Sweet 16 and Bridal Showers. In this sample I paper pieced the dress in Pistachio Pudding. What do you think?

Iman's Ameen
Hola Amigas. I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of making these invites for Iman's Ameen.
Looking forward to celebrating with Iman and her family! What an HONOR!
I was able to color match her name to the invite in MDS.
I am also making her favors to match.
Except they won't say Iman as they do now. It will say Thank You in Urdu. Inside I made a divider on the one side will have Tasbih Beads and the other will have 6 Hershey Nuggets.

Aleena's Sweet & Sassy Invite
Hola Amigas! It's been along time since I have posted. I have been really busy but Solimar, Joaquin and I have been sick for about a month. We have been recycling these germs for TOO LONG! Looking forward to warmer weather.
I had the pleasure of making my BEAUTIFUL Friend Shabana's daughter's invites. I absolutely LOVE this family. They are BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Aleena is 13. She is an amazing young lady. Smart and Beautiful. She knew what she wanted which is what I LOVE about all my clients/customers. But she also gave me free reign to also mold her idea into what I knew would look GREAT! What do you think? She new she wanted PINK. You can never go wrong with Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo. She also wanted a splash of animal print. Love the Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim. I will share later this week her favors. They are too cute.

Solimar's 7th Birthday
Happy Birthday Solimar! WOW! My beautiful Blondie turns 7 today. Where has the time gone? She has brought so much adventure and happiness into our lives. WE LOVE YOU! Solimar is the reason A Touch of Sol was created. She still continues to be my INSPIRATION! 
This is Solimar's invitation this year. It's a Luau. Her BFFs will be making a Hula Skirt, creating a volcano (that will actually erupt) and MORE! This was my first time brayering my background. It was alot easier than I thought. And it came out AMAZING! I added brads to the coconuts and raffia to the hula skirt. I still felt it was missing ribbon. I am a ribbon girl. But it just didn't seem to fit. I will show you, her favors and cupcake holders later this week.

Like a true NATURE child, we were BORN, born to be WILD
Hola Amigas! Solimar's 6th Birthday is coming up. This years theme is 60s GROOVY! If you know me or have followed my blog for a long time you know that each of my children ALWAYS have a themed birthday party. and I do it BIG! This year is no different! The children will be tie dying their own t-shirts, making beaded necklaces, they will also paint a smooth rock and have their own Hippie Pet Rock friend...AND SO MUCH MORE! Her party will be at the State Museum. After all the party fun crafts and good eats they will see a Samba show. TOO COOL!

Stamp A Holics 152-Inspiration Challenge
Hola Amigas. Today is Friday and that means playing with the Stamp A Holics. It was my week and I provided an Inspiration Challenge. This challenge is two-fold. You can make a wedding card or you can make a summer/warm/destination card.

Go, Graduate
Hola Amigas...How are you? Well I can't believe that in a few short weeks Solimar will be graduating Pre-K. I offered to make the invitations for her graduating class because...well for such a SPECIAL event I did not want to be invited from a flyer...This is one of the samples I should the teachers and this is the one they choose. I will be showing you this invite again but using their theme colors which are Glorious Green, Real Red, Brilliant Blue and Yo Yo Yellow. I had them choose just to colors and they choose Brilliant Blue and Yo Yo Yellow...I will be incorporating Real Red in the Grad cap...RECIPE: ALL STAMPIN UP

Hola Amigas. It's been about 10 stinkin days since I posted...CRAZY, huh? Well I have been SUPER BUSY! It also didnt help that I slipped outside on ice and had a BAD fall...YIKES! Anywho...Here is Solimar's invitation-Take 2. I like this one SO MUCH better...and thank you so much SHARON Clarke for allowing me to use your Two Step Bird Punch (Occassions Mini 2010) and the Birds & Branches Decorative die...LOVE THEM BOTH...The second-fourth pics are Solimar's goody bags for her birthday party in 2 weeks! She will be 5. I used Nichole Heady's template except I made mine different in that I tied the ribbon all the way thru the bottom of the birdhouse so that the children can open the box for their goodies without HOPEFULLY ruining it...So what do you think? Do you like all that RETIRED paper I used? I HAVE TO GET RID OF IT!

Play Ball!
Hola Amigas! How are you? We are doing well. Solimar had a birthday party to go to on Saturday. It was at Color Me Mine. It's a SUPER CUTE pottery store. The party guests were allowed to choose one ceramic figurine and paint it...Solimar chose an ice cream cone box. Once they were all painted they took them back to put in the oven/kiln so the paint sets and then they come out all glossy...SUPER CUTE. She had a blast! Well these are Julian's 2nd birthday invites. He's my Godson!...You can't tell in the picture but I made a perforation line underneath the second row so it looks like a real ticket stub. The set I used is Stampin UPs Just Baseball...I received it free from the Sale-a-Bration catty when I place a $50.00. You can pick from LOADS of stamp sets and a new border punch. MORE Tangerine Tango Meets Melon Mambo

Joaquin's 1st Birthday Invite
Hola Amigas...How is everyone doing? I am well. Just SUPER busy. And of course you all my Daddy is here on vacation. We are all having fun spending time with him. There are so many pictures I have to share with you but just don't have the time...So please be patient. I am going to share my baby boy's invite. He turns 1 on September 28. Where has the year gone? I am attaching a Reinforced Cake Instruction Sheet. It makes such a BIG difference when creating the Three Tier Cake made by Sizzix.
