Solimar's 9th Birthday Wish Favors

Hola Amigas! I have been away too long. Joaquin has a ruptured ear drum and a double ear infection and Solimar and I had the stomach bug. I also am working on a 12 day migraine. I really need better weather. Although can't complain about yesterday, it was GORGEOUS!
Here is the favors I made for Solimar's 9th Birthday wish. I used the In-Colors to wrap all the paint cans and die cut the letters for their name. I used paint samples to write "Thank you for coming".
I also used the bigger paint samples to make bookmarks and covered mini notebooks for their sketchbooks.

RECIPE: STAMPIN' UP!
Paper: 13'-15' In-Color DSP, Baked Brown Sugar, Sunny Garden DSP (retired), Whisper White
Ribbon: Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack (retired)
Accessories: Big Shot, Serif Essentials

Solimar's 9th Birthday Wish

Hola Amigas! I can't believe my first born will be 9 next week. Where did the time go? One of the things I love about celebrating both my kids is all the preparations, the theme, the invites, the projects the kids will do, etc. This year for Solimar is no different. She chose an Art themed party.
I am slowly beginning to love MDS. I wanted something different for her invites so
I created the invite in MDS to fit inside of a paint palette. SO COOL!
The above picture is the front and below is the inside of the paint palette.
It was pretty easy to create and so much fun!
What do you think?

Sketch Frenzy Friday 022214

Hola Amigas! WOW! I can't believe the weather! Yesterday was actually a warm day about 50 degrees or so and today its expected to be 60 degrees. I am worried about flooding if tons of snow start melting. There is so much I think the Easter Bunny will have a hard time delivering his baskets. LOL!
Well it's another Sketch Frenzy Friday Sketch. I had fun creating mine in MDS (My Digital Studio).
I hope you will play along, we would love to see your artwork.

Challenge 241-Dies or Framelits

Hola Amigas! i hope you enjoyed your weekend! I had a great weekend I spent it in Philly with my Crafty Chica Marnie and Gina. Gina asked me to help with her daugher's wedding invitations...of course Stampin' UP! Style. It was fun and the invitation is beautiful! I will share it with you when Gina mails them out.
For the next two weeks we would love to see all your artwork using Dies or Framelits. Here I made favors for a birthday party. These are too cute. I used the Dress Up Framelits. The box holds a lipstick, chapstick or lipgloss. Would you agree that makes a great favor for a girls' birthday party and even a bridal shower? So go over to our LNS Challenge Blog. check out all the amazing samples from the DT and upload your creations too.
